Zipline Courses

Zipline courses developed from the "Canopy tracks" in the South American Jungle - and the very fact that in rope courses participants often have the most fun with the longest zip line possible.
Ziplines in adventure parks are also called Flying Foxes. Ziplines without additional brakes can be implemented up to 100meter length, depending on terrain and climatic conditions (wind). Longer ziplines are supposed to have an additional brake, such as the "Zipstop", to ensure participants light- and heavy weighted arrive safely independent of wind direction. Braked ziplines can be implemented up to 1500m length. The slope may in this case be much higher than with unbraked ziplines.
